All who are prudent act with knowledge, but fools expose their folly. Proverbs 13: 16
Once, there was a farmer who had a dog that had the habit of sitting on the roadside and waiting for any vehicle that comes around. When he saw one, he would run as fast as he can and bark and chase the truck or car. However, he was never successful in overtaking any vehicle.
One day, the farmer’s neighbor asked him, “Do you think your dog will ever catch a car.” The farmer replied, “I am least bothered about that. My worry is what will happen to my dog if he ever caught one.”
Moral of the Story: ‘Most of us are behaving like this dog pursuing meaningless goals that will surely cause dissatisfaction, distress, and disappointment.’
